The aim of Iveta Vilka’s Bachelor’s Paper ,,Games as a Means of Developing Child’s Language at the Age of 6 and 7” is to explore the role of the games in the development of child’s language at the age of 6 and 7 and based on the views of the recognised educators and psychologists to work out and pilot the program of games meant for the pre-school children overall development, for their language acquisition in the pre-school education centre ,,Tince”.
First, the theoretical outline has been worked out based on the opinions of Komenskis J. A., Lieģeniece D., Romanovskis V., Ernstone V., Poriņš V., Dēķēns K., etc. Secondly, the study of the children language development has been carried out. Then, the set of games has been completed in order to facilitate the development of 6 and 7 year-old children language. And finally, the case study has been carried out to pilot the designed set of games in the pre-school education centre ,,Tince”.
