In today’s society, virtues are becoming more to a pressing issue due to a loss of the human values. In culturally diverse society, preschool’s educational institutions have to become a driving factor in developing child’s personality, since often families are unable to provide such function qualitatively.
The purpose of the bachelor thesis is to identify the promotional possibilities of the character - “I” in the preschools educational institutions, since there are untapped opportunities for enrichment of child’s character - “I” in physical, social and moral aspects. The formation of the character “I” is a precondition for the development of sophisticated behavioral motives. Child’s acquaintance with its “I” gives a ground for a joint child’s examination both for a teacher and a child.
The research process underwent the theoretical and methodological analysis of literature, in regard to formation of character “I” during child’s playtime for children in preschool’s age, as well as assessment and survey was undertaken in the research.
By analyzing the data, it was concluded that after the experiment, the age group of preschool children’s character “I” has experienced a slight increase. Thus in practice, it is not only important to use play aspects, but also other activities that enrich child’s character “I” and include the ways and means of the play in the process planning of pedagogy.
Bachelor consists of eighty two pages and seven appendixes.
