PATHOS Teokrita dzejā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba „Pathos Teokrita dzejā” ir veidots to trim pamatnodaļām un nobeiguma. Pirmajā pamatnodaļā ir skatīts jautājums par termina παθος būtību retorikā kā vienu no pārliecināšanas veidiem, saskaņā ar Aristoteļa traktātu par pathos „Retorikas” II grāmatā. Otrā daļa ir veltīta hellēnisma laikmeta vispārīgo iezīmju apskatei un uz tā fona Teokrita dzejas rašanos jautājumam. Trešajā nodaļā ir veikta praktiska Teokrita bukoliku analīze. Teokrita pastorālā dzejā galvenie motīvi ir mīlestība, sacensība, dabas apskats. Visi trīs ir apskatīti ar nolūku, lai noteiktu un analizētu paustas emocijas tajās, saskaņā ar Retorikas enciklopēdijas doto klasifikāciju. Visas emocijas var tikt sadalīts uz divām grupām: tās, kuras sniedz baudu, vai tās, kuras rāda sāpes. Teokrita pastorālā dzejā ir sastopamas visas emocijas, minētas Aristoteļa darbā, tomēr ir akcentēta bauda.

Bachelor thesis „Pathos in Theocritus poetry” consists of three chapters and conclusion. The first chapter looks at the nature of term παθος in rhetorics aso ne of the persuding methods, according to Aristoteles treatise on pathos in the second book of „Rhetoric”. The second chapter is dedicated to the general features of hellenistic age and the basis for invention of Theocritus poetry. In the third chapter is made the practical analysis of Theocritus bucolic poetry. Theocritus pastoral main motivēs are love, rivalry and nature. All of those aspects are looked though so that emotions, that are applied in the bucolics would be defined and analysed in line with the classification from The Encyclopedia of Rhetoric, where is said that all emotions could be devided into two groups based on criterion of pleasure and pain. In Theocritus poetry are visible most of the emotions, that Aristoteles is talking about in his work, although the main accent is made on pleasure.
