Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt adoptēta bērna audzināšanas un adopcijas fakta atklāšanas iespējas ģimenē. Darbs sastāv no teorētiskās un empīriskās daļas. Darba teorētiskajā
daļā tika izpētīta zinātniskā literatūra, Latvijas un Itālijas normatīvie akti, Latvijas Republikas Statistikas dati un citi pieejamie avoti par šo tēmu. Teorētiskā daļā tika pētīts adopcijas process no seniem laikiem līdz mūsdienām, ļaujot saprast, kā mainījusies adopcijas būtība. Lai saprastu adoptēta bērna audzināšanas īpatnības ģimenē, tika pētītas gan adoptēta bērna personības īpatnības, gan adoptētāja personības īpatnības. Tas ļāva saprast kādas personas var kļūt par adptētāju, lai adopcija būtu bērna interesēs.
Empīriskajā daļā pētītas adoptētāju domas par adoptētu bērnu audzināšanu un adopcijas fakta atklāšanas nepieciešamību. Empīriskā daļa sastāv no ekspertu daļēji strukturētām intervijām un anketām adoptētājiem, adoptētam, kā arī cilvēkiem, kuri nav bijuši ne adoptēti, ne adoptētie. Pētījuma rezultātā secināts, ka vecākiem ir jāizrāda ļoti liela mīlestība un pacietība adoptēta bērna audzināšanā. Daudzas grūtības, kuras pēc vecāku domām rodas no tā, ka bērns ir adoptēts, iespējamas arī ģimenē ar tajā dzimu bērnu. Vecākiem ir jāsaprot kad un kā viņi bērnam atklās adopcijas faktu, ja vispār to darīs, kā arī savu reakciju pret bērna velmi sameklēt savus bioloģiskos radus. Part studied the scientific literature, Latvian and Italian legislation, the Latvian Statistical and other available sources on this topic. The theoretical part of the adoption process was studied from ancient times to the present day, allowing to understand the changes in the nature of adoption. To understand the peculiarities of an adopted child's upbringing in the family, has been studied in both the adopted child's personality characteristics of both the adopter's personality characteristics. This made it possible to understand a person can become a adptētāju for adoption would be in the interest of the child.
Empirical part explores the adoptive thoughts adoptive child rearing and adoption disclosure the need. The empirical part consists of a semi-structured expert interviews and questionnaires for adoptive parents, adopted, as well as people who have not been adopted or not adopted children. Result of the study concluded that parents should show great love and patience of an adopted child's upbringing. Many of the difficulties that the parents' view, result from the fact that the child has been adopted, and possibly also in the family with the sex of the baby. Parents need to understand when and how they will reveal the child for adoption fact, if anything will do as well as their response to the child's desire to find their biological relatives.
