Mātes izpratnes par bērna uzvedības motīviem saistības ar mātes dusmām un bērna uzvedības problēmu vērtējumu divus gadus vecu bērnu mātēm

Abstract

Veicot mātes – bērna video novērošanu brīvās spēles situācijā un tai sekojošu interviju ar mātēm, šī pētījuma ietvaros tika noskaidrots, kā mātes izprot sava bērna uzvedības motīvus un vai noteikti mātes izpratnes kritēriji saistās ar mātes dusmām un bērna uzvedības problēmu novērtējumu. Kopumā pētījumā piedalījās 22 mātes (vidējais vecums 30,8 gadi) ar saviem 2 – 2,5 gadus vecajiem bērniem (vidējais vecums 2,2 gadi; 12 zēni un 10 meitenes). Pētījuma rezultātā tika izveidoti 20 mātes izpratnes kritēriji, kas izrietēja no intervijām ar mātēm un 5 mātes uzvedības kategorijas video novērošanas laikā. Lai noskaidrotu bērna uzvedības problēmu novērtējumu un mātes dusmu intensitāti tika izmantota un latviešu valodā adaptēta Vecāku Dusmu Aptauja (Parent Anger Inventory, Sedlar G., Hansen D. J., 2001). Iegūtie rezultāti norādīja, ka mātes novērtējums par bērna uzvedības problēmām saistās ar emocionāli neiesaistītu sava bērna redzējumu un līdz ar to nespēju skatīt lietas no sava bērna perspektīvas, kas intervijas gaitā rada grūtības izprast bērna uzvedības pamatā esošos motīvus. Iegūtie rezultāti neatspoguļoja saistības starp mātes izpratni par bērna uzvedības motīviem un mātes dusmām. This research set to find out how mothers’ insightfulness is related to mothers’ anger and the evaluation of child behaviour problems. 22 mothers (mean age 30,8 years) with their 2 – 2,5 year old children (mean age 2,2 years, 12 male and 10 female) were videotaped during normal playtime followed by an interview with the mother. As the result of the research 20 criteria of mothers’ insightfulness were derived from the interviews and 5 mothers’ behaviour categories from the video material. To find out the child problem behaviour evaluation and the intensity of mothers’ anger, the adaptation of the Parent Anger Inventory (Sedlar G., Hansen D. J., 2001). The results showed that mothers’ evaluation of child behaviour problems was related to an emotionally unattached view of the child leading to the inability to see things from the child’s perspective and creating problems with the understanding of child behaviour motives. Results didn’t show any relation between mothers’ insightfulness about child behaviour motives and mothers’ anger.
