The aim of the Diploma Paper “Acquisition of Kinematics of motion in Physics and Natural Sciences in General Comprehensive School” is to aggregate and to compare the teaching of the topic of mechanics in the elementary and secondary course of physics as well as the integration of the topic of mechanics in the course of natural sciences.
In the Diploma Paper there has also been carried out the research how, with the application of the laboratory research work and different teaching methods, the level of pupils’ knowledge has been influenced; and the attitude towards the learning process, learning motivation and the interest in natural sciences and physics has developed. In the Diploma Paper there are drafts of the thematic plans of the topic ‘Motion’ for form 6 in natural sciences, forms 8 and 10 in physics, as well as final tests and the methods for evaluating pupils’ achievements. According to the research, the conclusions have been drawn and the suggestions for a modern learning process of natural sciences and physics have been made.
