dc.description.abstract | Mātēm, kurām ir bērni ar īpašām vajadzībām (BĪV), ir svarīga loma šo bērnu sekmīgā rehabilitācijā un viņas nodrošina tiem lielāko daļu aprūpes. Šajā pētījumā uzmanība tika pievērsta, trīs nozīmīgiem faktoriem - vecāku kompetences izjūtai, vecāku stresam un saņemtajam sociālajam atbalstam, kuru savstarpējā mijiedarbība iespējams, ietekmē šo ģimeņu un šo bērnu ar īpašajām vajadzībām dzīves kvalitāti. Rezultātos redzams, ka mātēm ar BĪV uzradās augstāks stress. Tāpat rezultāti uzrāda, ka sociālajam atbalstam ir nozīme stresa līmeņa kontrolē, bet stresa līmenis prognozē vecāku kompetenci. Tas nozīmē, ka stress ir kā mediators starp sociālo atbalstu un vecāku kompetenci, un ja vecāki saņem sociālo atbalstu, tiem ir mazāks stress un viņi ir apmierinātāki un efektīvāki vecāki. Šis pētījums apstiprina to, ka vērtīgi būtu izstrādāt psiholoģiskās programmas, kas vērstas uz šo sieviešu sociālās funkcionēšanas spēju atjaunošanu, stresa mazināšanu un vecāku kompetences veicināšanu. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Mothers of children with special needs (CSN), play an essential role in the successful rehabilitation of their children by providing the majority of care for their children. The present study investigated perceived stress, social support and parenting sense of competence in mothers.
Results showed that mothers with CSN had a higher level of stress than mothers without CSN. This results demonstrate the potential importance of parental stress levels towards influencing parenting sense of competence. Parenting stress was mediated by perceived social support and parenting sense of competence, and if the parents have social support, they have less stress, when they have less stress, they are feel happier and more effective parents.
These results provide valuable information for healthcare professionals in designing effective interventions and preventive care to reduce the level of strain in mothers with CSN. | en_US |
