Darba mērķis ir veicināt skolēnu izziņas aktivitāti ķīmijas mācību stundās pamatskolā, apgūstot jautājumus par materiālu otrreizējo izmantošanu un pārstrādi, izmantojot dažādas mācību metodes un organizācijas formas. Darbā veikts literatūras apkopojums par materiālu otrreizējās izmantošanas un pārstrādes nozīmi, un iespējām. Izstrādāti, aprakstīti un pamatskolā aprobēti stundu piemēri, kuros izmantotas dažādas mācību metodes un organizācijas formas skolēnu izziņas aktivitātes veicināšanai par ilgtspējīgas attīstības būtību. Izanalizēta izmantoto mācību metožu un organizācijas formu izmantošanas efektivitāte.

The goal of the thesis is to encourage students’ cognitive activity in primary school chemistry lessons, learning issues of material reuse and recycling, using a variety of teaching methods and forms of organization. A summary of literatures about importance and possibilities of material reuse and recycling has been performed. Lesson examples with a use of different learning and organization methods to promote students’ cognitive activities about the nature of sustainable development have been developed and adapted in primary school classes. An analysis of efficiency of applied teaching methods and forms of organization has been performed.
