Kauzālais skaidrojums socioloģijā (E.Gidensa strukturācijas teorija).

Abstract

Par to, kādai ir jābūt socioloģisko pētījumu pieejai, viedokļi atšķiras, līdz ar to dažādi ir arī uzskati par to, kā kauzāli skaidrot sociālos fenomenus. Darba „Kauzālais skaidrojums socioloģijā (Entonija Gidensa strukturācijas teorija)” mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai var piekrist Gidensa uzskatam, ka šīs problēmas risinājums meklējams nevis epistemoloģiskā ar to saistīto jautājumu aplūkojumā, bet gan ir jāveido ontoloģisku teoriju par sabiedrības veidošanos, uz kuru balstoties var veidot skaidrojumus atsevišķiem sociālajiem fenomeniem. Pēc abu pieeju aplūkojuma darbā tiek secināts, ka noderīgas ir abas, jo katra izgaismo citu problēmas aspektu.

There are different opinions about the right approaches of sociological research and accordingly there is not one view about the causal explanations of social phenomena. The objective of the work “Causal explanations in sociology (Enthony’s Giddens’s structuration theory)” is to examine whether Giddens is right when he asserts that this problem should be solved not by epistemological questioning of sociology and causal explanations in this science but the ontological theory about construction of society should be developed in order to offer a base for explanation of particular social phenomena. After the examination of both approaches it is concluded that both of them are appropriate because each is useful in illumination of different aspects of the problem.
