Fotoattēli par Ļeņingradas blokādi kā vēstures avots

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā tiek apskatīti fotoattēli par vienu no Otrā pasaules kara principiālākajiem notikumiem, Ļeņingradas blokādi, kura ilga no 1941.g. 8.septembra līdz 1944.g. 27.janvārim, vērtējot tos kā vēstures avotus. Darba mērķis ir aplūkot, vai fotokorespondentu skatījums un darbība atbilda reālajām norisēm Ļeņingradā. Izpētes gaitā pierādījās, ka liela daļa fotoattēlu tika uzņemti propagandas interesēs, un tikai salīdzinoši nosacīti atbilst reālajiem notikumiem. Šai darbā ir iespējams iepazīties ar padomju un vācu armiju karadarbības gaitām fotoattēlos, kā arī uzzināt par norisēm, kuras nav redzamas aplūkotajos fotoattēlos. Tiek konstatēts, ka arī šobrīd Rietumu izdevumos ir iespējams atrast objektīvākus fotoattēlus, salīdzinoši ar mūsdienu Krievijas teritorijā publicētajiem.

The current paper deals with the photographs depicting the Siege of Leningrad - one of the fundamental events during WWII that lasted from 8 September 1941 to 27 January 1944. The photos are assessed as historical sources. The aim of the paper is to discuss the correlation between the vision of the photo reporters and the actual development of events in Leningrad. During the research it was discovered that a considerable amount of photographs have been taken to serve the interests of propaganda and relatively corresponded to the actual events. The paper presents photos depicting German and Soviet army soldiers as well as discusses events that are not covered by the photographs. The author of the paper concludes that the western publications provide readers with more objective photos than those published in the current territory of Russia.
