Lai to raksturotu, tiek aprakstīts tās nošķīrums no viennozīmīgas un daudznozīmīgas predikācijas, kā arī trīs veidi, kādos tā iedalās- proporcionalitātes analoģija, attiecinājuma analoģija un līdzdalības analoģija. To describe analogical predication it is distinguished from univocal and equivocal predications, and three types of analogy are characterized- analogy of attribution, analogy of proportionality and analogy of participation.
