Maģistra darbā „Kognitīvās disonanses reducēšanas problēma Leona Festingera teorijā un indivīda sociālās pašorganizācijas iespējas: filozofiska analīze” tiek analizēta viena no 20. gs. izcilākajiem sociālajiem psihologiem - Leona Festingera kognitīvās disonanses teorija. In this Masters Work “ The problem of the reduction of cognitive dissonance in Leon Festinger's theory and the possibilities of self-organization of the individual „ : the philosophical analysis , a theory of cognitive dissonance by one of the most prominent psychologists of the 20th century Leon Festinger has been analysed. The work shows how the processes of cognitive dissonance reduction are related to the shaping of an individual's knowledge system. The problem of cognitive dissonance reduction is analyzed from the perspective of social philosophy, to show how the social environment and social relations contribute to the occurrence of dissonance and its impact on the reduction processes while participating in the shaping of an individual's knowledge system. Festinger’s theory of cognitive dissonance is analyzed in the context of ideas of humanistic approach to personality, to show how the processes of dissonance reduction are related to one's development of personality and social self-organization.
