Arheoloģijas attīstība Latvijā no 19.gs. līdz 1940.gadam

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā tiek atspoguļota Latvijas arheoloģijas attīstība laika posmā no 19.gs. līdz 1940.gadām. Darba pirmajā daļā sniegts kopējais priekšstats par arheoloģijas zinātnes pirmsākumiem un arheoloģiskiem izrakumiem 19.gs. Kā arī aprakstīts 19.gs. otras pusēs svarīgākais notikums X Viskrievijas Arheoloģijas kongress, un ar to saistītas ekspedīcijas, izstādes un 19.gs. beigās veiktie arheoloģiskie izrakumi. Darba otrajā daļā tiek apskatīts jautājums par Pieminekļu Valdes izveidošanu, kura veica Latvijas teritorijas arheoloģisko pieminekļu apzināšanu, reģistrēšanu un aizsargāšanu. Kā arī apskatīti svarīgākie arheoloģiski izrakumi 20.gs. 20.-30.gados. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir sniegt kopējo priekšstatu par arheoloģijas attīstības galveniem virzieniem Latvijas teritorijā no 19.gs. sākuma līdz 1940.g.

The Bachelor's work shows the development of archaeology in Latvia from 19th century till 1940. The first part of work gives insight of the archaeology beginnings, and describes the excavations in 19th century. An important event in the second half of 19th century the 10th all-Russia Archaeological Congress – is described, including the related expeditions, exhibitions and archaeological excavations at the end of 19th century. The second part of work reviews the creation of a Committee for Monument Protection, which worked on monument recognition, registration and protection at the territory of Latvia. Also, important archaeological excavations during 1920 and 1930 are described. The aim of this work is to give overall information on the development of main archaeology directions on the territory of Latvia from the 19th century till 1940.
