dc.description.abstractDarbs sastāv no 42 lapām. Izmantoti 12 literatūras avoti (12 angļu valodā) Darba mērķis ir izpētīt kā mēs varam labāk izprast mākslīgā intelekta darbības principus, nemainot savu viedokli par cilvēka domāšanas procesiem. Darba tēma pamatota, aplūkojot Džona Serla ‘’ķīniešu istabas’’ eksperimentu un iztirzājot tam veltīto kritiku, kā arī lietojot Mārvina Minska rakstu ‘’Kāpēc cilvēki domā, ka datori nevar’’. Ļoti lielā mērā darba gaitā atspoguļots arī paša autora viedoklis un atblistošo jautājumu analīze. Darbā ir analizēta tādu jēdzienu kā ‘’operācijas ar simboliem’’, izpratne, saprašana, atmiņa, domāšanas process attiecībā pret mākslīgo intelektu.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe paper contains 42 pages. 12 bibliography resources were used ( 12 in the English language) The aim of research was to find out better ways to explain the principles behind artifficial intelligence, without changing our views of human thought processes. The study is based on John Searle’s ‘’chinese room’’ thought experiment and the critique for this work. Marvin Minsky’s paper ‘’Why people think computers can’t’’ was also used. For the most part study also contains the authors personal opinion and analysis of corresponding questions. Study focuses on such terms as ‘’operations with symbols’’ understanding, memory and thought process in relation to artificial intelligence.en_US
