Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir Vienotās eiro maksājumu telpas (SEPA) priekšrocības. Darba mērķis ir izstrādāt priekšlikumus finanšu institūcijām un par SEPA atbildīgajām organizācijām par starptautisko maksājumu sistēmas SEPA popularizēšanu, informējot sabiedrību par iespējām un priekšrocībām SEPA izmantošanā. Bakalaura darba pētījuma pirmajā nodaļā tiek aprakstītas vienotās valūtas izveidošanās, SEPA, iesaistītās organizācijas, pakalpojumi un priekšrocības. Otrajā nodaļā - SEPA darbība Latvijā, iedzīvotāju informētība par SEPA un nepieciešamā komunikācijas politika. Trešajā nodaļā - iedzīvotāju anketēšanas rezultāti par SEPA pakalpojumu informētību un norēķinu paradumiem, kā arī salīdzināti Latvijas trīs lielāko banku cenrāži par eiro valūtas maksājumiem. Noslēgumā ir izvirzīti 5 priekšlikumi, kas palīdzētu finanšu institūcijām un par SEPA projektu atbildīgajām organizācijām informēt lielāku iedzīvotāju daļu par SEPA. The theme of the bachelor paper is benefits of Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA). The objective of the paper is develop proposals to financial institutions and for SEPA responsible organizations for promotion of SEPA international payment system, informing the public about the opportunities and benefits from the use of SEPA. In the bachelor paper’s first chapter of the study is described establishment of the single currency, SEPA, participants, services and benefits. In the second chapter - SEPA process in Latvia, public awareness of SEPA and the necessary communication policy. The third chapter - results of population surveys about awareness of SEPA services and payments habits; compared price lists of the three largest banks in Latvia. In the end of the paper are 5 proposals to help financial institutions and the responsible organizations for the SEPA project, organizations in Latvia to inform greater part of inhabitants in Latvia about SEPA.
