In the qualification paper diagnostic radiation dose influencing factors and the role of research radiographer were analyzed. The paper focuses on the radiographer's role and responsibilities of performing diagnostic procedures of abdominal examination with CT method, as well as the effects of patienteducation, information and motivation possibility and necessary during the examination
The paper consists of an introduction, five chapters and conclusions.
The first chapter describes anatomy of abdominal organs.
The second chapter explain the imaging guidance and theoretical basis (analysis of factors affecting the received radiation dose).
The third chapter analyzes the correct and appropriate guidelines with CT abdominal pathology investigation, evaluated, analyzed the radiographer's role and responsibilities in carrying out these tests. We analyzed patient and staff safety and radiological protection procedures.
The fourth chapter analyzes the patient's care during these tests.
