Diploma paper „The importance of medical care staff in the early diagnostics of tuberculosis” shows the invaluable role of a nurse in identifying tuberculosis and in making contacts with a patient.
The subject of the research shows problems which prevent diagnostics of tuberculosis in early stages and at the same time efforts to improve the life quality for patients.
The author of diploma paper has used the method of qualitative investigation and the interview is used as instrument of investigation.
The results shows causes why patients come to the family doctor too late and show their habbits in making contacts.
This research helps to identify the weakest points in taking care of people and availability of health care service at family doctors.
The results of the research shows that the nurse’s work takes the main place in the sequence of all medical care and testing. However an amount of work which does the nurse does not help for good quality medical service.
The research might be useful for nurses who works with family doctors and helps them as material for investigation, education and work.
