Abstract

Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir „Ķīniešu teātra uzplaukums mongoļu dinastijas laikā.” 13.-14. gadsimtā mongoļu iekarojumu rezultātā Ķīnā tika izveidota pirmā, visu Ķīnas teritoriju aptverošā svešzemnieku dinastija ar nosaukumu Juaņ. Pārmaiņas, kuras ienesa jaunā varas elite skāra vairākas ķīniešu dzīves jomas un atstāja savu iespaidu arī skatuves mākslā. Šajā laikā strauju attīstību uzsāka ķīniešu klasiskais teātris, kļūdams par populāru izklaides veidu mongoļu dinastijas laikos. Šis teātra uzplaukums ir pievērsis mūsdienu Ķīnas literatūras pētnieku un vēsturnieku uzmanību un kļuvis par tematu plašām diskusijām. Pastāv atšķirīgi viedokļi par teātra uzplaukuma iemesliem, gan tādi, kas ir izveidojušies vēstures gaitā, gan arī 20.gs. izteikti viedokļi, kas ir izveidojušies pateicoties rūpīgai vēsturisko dokumentu un avotu izpētei. Dotā bakalaura darba mērķis ir tuvāk iepazīties ar Juaņ dinastijas teātra lugām, izzināt to uzplaukuma iemeslu, kā arī pievērsties šo literatūras darbu atstātajam iespaidam nākamo gadsimtu dramaturgu daiļradē. Teātra kultūras attīstība 13. gadsimtā ir notikusi pateicoties vairākiem vēsturiskiem, kā arī sociāliem faktoriem. Pētnieki atzīst, teātra attīstībai 13. gs. bija nodrošināti visi vēsturiskie priekšnoteikumi, taču arī mongoļu varai ir bijusi zināma loma šīs skatuves mākslas attīstībā. Vairāku Juaņ dzadzju un čuancji stila lugu autori un viņu daiļrade ir atstājusi iespaidu uz nākamajām literātu paaudzēm, ne tikai Ķīnā, bet arī Eiropā. Šie divi 13.-14.gs. teātra literatūras stili ir iespaidojuši arī Ķīnas operu. Kopvērtējumā, pētījumi par Juaņ laika teātri ir svarīgi, jo šis periods ir bijis nozīmīgs pavērsiens teātra attīstības vēsturē un ir atstājis savu iespaidu uz teātra attīstību visu nākamo gadsimtu garumā.

Name of this bachelor’s paper is “Rise of Chinese Theatre during Mongol dynasty.” As a result of the 13th-14th century Mongol conquest of China, a new dynasty, named Yuan that united whole China territory, was established. Changes that were brought by the new power affected many fields of Chinese life and left influence on performing arts as well. At this time classical Chinese theatre developed rapidly, becoming one of the most popular forms of entertainment during Mongol dynasty. This theatre development has attracted attention of modern Chinese literature and history scholars and has become a theme for widespread discussion. There are different views among the scholars about the reasons of the theatre development, whether those are reasons that have formed throughout history, or those concluded on the research of historical documents and sources during the 20th century. The main purpose of this bachelor’s paper is to get acquainted with the plays of Yuan dynasty, discover the source of their rapid development, as well as draw attention to the effects that these works of literature have left onto playwrights of following centuries. The development of theatre culture in 13th century happened as a result of certain historical and social factors. Scholars agree, theatre development in 13th century had all the historical preconditions, yet Mongol power also played an important role in the rise of this performing art. Many Yuan zaju and chuanqi authors and their works have left an impact on the following generations of literati, not only in China, but in Europe as well. These two theatrical literature styles of 13th – 14th century have influenced Chinese opera as well. All in all, research on Yuan theatre is important, because this period in history was significant turnabout in the history of theatre and has left its influence on the development of theatre through the next centuries.
