Politiskā teātra tradīcija un inovācijas 21. gadsimta Latvijas teātrī

Abstract

Maģistra darba „Politiskā teātra tradīcija un inovācija 21.gadsimta Latvijas teātrī” tēmas izvēli noteikuši aktuālie procesi Latvijas skatuves mākslā. Tiem raksturīga pastiprināta teātra pievēršanas sociālpolitiskām tēmām un jaunu izpausmes formu meklējumi. Darbam izvirzīts sekojošs mērķis: identificēt un analizēt Latvijas politiskā teātra inovācijas 21.gadsimtā, skatot tās pasaules teātra attīstības tendenču, laikmetīgās skatuves mākslas un teātra teorijas kontekstā. Darba gaitā pētīta pasaules politiskā teātra ģenēze un transformācija 20.gadsimtā. Tāpat identificēta virkne inovāciju 21.gadsimta Latvijas teātrī, kas skaidrojams ar pastiprinātu teātra interesi par sabiedrībai aktuāliem jautājumiem. To veicinājusi gan ar jaunas teātra režisoru paaudzes ienākšana teātrī, gan jaunu tēmu meklējumi teātros kopumā, tāpat velkamas ciešas paralēles starp notiekošo Latvijas un citu valstu politiskajos teātros.

The subject „Political theatre: Traditions and Innovations of Latvian Theatre in the 21st Century” was chosen for the following master’s theses due to the contemporary tendencies in Latvian theatre. They are characterized by a deep interest in socio-political subjects as well as a search for a new stage formats. The master’s theses have had the following goal: to identify and analyze innovations political theatre in 21st century by taking into account common trends in the contemporary theatre and the latest theories addressing political theatre. Series of innovations in Latvian theatre in 21st century are being explained by a profound interest of theatre in current political events as well as other reasons such as a new generation of directors and play writers who are interested in those subjects and due to the attempts to find new ways of expression in theatre. It is worth to mention that there is strong correlation between theatre in Latvia and trends in other European countries.
