Maģistra darbā ir atspoguļota pārliecināšanas un manipulācijas pāņēmienu analīze Spānijas sieviešu žūrnālu reklāmtekstos. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir izvērtēt sieviešu laikrakstos ietvertos reklāmas rakstītos tekstus, pierādot pārliecināšanas un manipulācijas lingvistisko instrumentu esamību tajos. Lai noteiktu zinātnisku pozīciju attiecībā uz reklāmas būtību un lomu, kuru spēlē valoda, radot ietekmi uz klientu, tika veikts literatūras apskats. Darba empīriskajā daļā kvalitatīvās un kvantitatīvās analīzes ietvaros izpētīta valoda 225 rakstiskās reklāmas tekstos, tajā skaitā piemērojot diskursa analīzes, grupēšanas, anketēšanas metodi u.c. Vairums apskatīto piemēru atklāj, ka tekstu autori nepārtraukti izmanto dažādus valodu paņēmienus, lai ietekmētu klientu lēmuma pieņemšanas procesu par labu savām komerciālām interesēm. The given Master thesis presents the analysis of the Techniques of Persuasion and Manipulation in Advertising Texts of Spanish Women’s Magazines. This research is aimed at the investigation of the copy texts of the print advertisements from the women’s magazines as to show proofs of the presence of the linguistics means of persuasion and manipulation in them. Literature review was carried out to find the scientific standpoint concerning the essence of advertising and the role language plays in it in exerting influence upon the customer. In the empirical part of the thesis the language of 225 print advertisements was studied within the framework of the quantitative and qualitative analysis, inter alia discourse analysis, grouping and questionnaire, etc. The many examples discussed demonstrate that copywriters constantly make use of different language techniques so as to influence the process of the decision making by the customer at the service of their commercial interests.
