Bezekvivalenta leksikas atbilsme romānu tulkojumos

Abstract

Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir “Bezekvivalenta leksikas atbilsme romānu tulkojumos”. Darba galvenais mērķis ir teorētiskā un empīriskā analīzē izpētīt tulkošanas problēmas, kas saistītas ar bezekvivalenta leksikas atveidi. Pētījuma uzdevums ir noskaidrot: kādas leksikas vienības tiek uzskatītas par grūti tulkojamām un netulkojamām, kādas metodes tulkotājs var pielietot bezekvivalenta leksikas atveidē, kuras metodes izmanto romānu tulkotāji un kādi ir rezultāti, pielietojot konkrētu stratēģiju. Izpētot divu romānu tulkojumos izmantotās bezekvivalenta leksikas atveides stratēģijas un savstarpēji tās salīdzinot, tiek noskaidrots, kuras metodes pielietojums konkrētā gadījumā ir sekmīgākais risinājums tulkošanas problēmai.

The title of Bachelor’s paper is “Reference of non-equivalent lexis in novels translations”. The main aim is to explore through theoretic and empiric analysis problems involving reproduction of non-equivalent lexis. The target of the research is to establish: which units of lexis are considered to be difficult to translate and untranslatable, which methods can be used reproducing non-equivalent lexis, which methods are used by the translators of the novels and what are the results applying particular technique. Having researched and compared the strategies of non-equivalent lexis reproduction, which are put into practise in translations of two novels, it is clarified, which method in a particular case is the most effective settlement of translation problem.
