Bakalaura darba tēma ir AS „ABLV BANK” zīmola maiņa. Zīmola vizuālās komunikācijas analīze. Darbs sastāv no trīs daļām - teorētiskās, metodoloģiskās un empīriskās daļas.
Pirmajā daļā ir apkopota teorija par zīmolu, zīmola funkcijām, zīmolu veidošanu, zīmola stratēģiju, zīmola identitāti, zīmola maiņu (rebrendingu) un zīmola identitātes vadlīnijām. Teorētiskā daļa bakalaura darbā ir pamatota uz Deivida Alena Ākera (David Allen Aaker), Džeimsa Hammonda (James Hammond), Deivida Ogilvija (David Ogilvy), Žana Noela Kapferera (Jean-Noel Kapferer), Dāvida Bernšteina (David Bernstein) un Kevina Leina Kellera (Kevin Lane Keller) teorētiskiem pamatojumiem, kā arī uz citiem reklāmas un zīmola teorētiķiem.
Otrajā daļā ir aprakstītas empīriskajā pētījumā izvēlētās pētniecības metodes un to pamatojums: daļēji strukturēta intervija, gadījuma pētījums - dokumentu analīze.
Trešajā daļā ir apkopota un pētīta empīriskajos pētījumos iegūtā informācija.
Pētījumos iegūtā informācija, liecina, lai ieviestu perfektu zīmolu ir nepieciešams izstrādāt zīmola identitātes vadlīnijas, kas nosaka veidu kā zīmols komunicē vizuālajā un verbālajā stilā, nodrošinot izpratni par zīmola vērtībām un uzvedību.

In the first part is summarized the theory of brand, brand functions, branding, brand strategy, brand identity, rebranding and brand identity guidelines. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on David Allen Aaker, James Hammond, David Ogilvy, Jean-Noel Kapferer, David Bernstein and Kevin Lane Keller theoretical grounds, as well as other’s advertising and branding theorists.
The second part describes the empirical study of the chosen research methods and their reasoning: semi-structured interview, case study - document analysis.
The third part has been collected and studied information obtained from empirical studies.
According to the results of the research, to introduce the perfect brand, it is necessary to develop brand identity guidelines, which determines how a brand communicates in the visual and verbal style, providing an understanding of brand values and behavior.
