Bakalaura darbā apskatīta Latvijas aviokompānijas airBaltic zīmola pārpozicionēšana.
Zīmola pozicionējumu apskatīts kā zīmola veidošana, komunicēšanu patērētājam izmantojot drukātās reklāmas.
Darba mērķis ir izpētīt zīmola pārpozicionēšanu aviokompānijas drukātajās reklāmās.
Darbs sakārtots 6 nodaļās. Pirmajā nodaļā izvērtēts zīmola jēdziens un definīcijas, otrajā - apskatīta zīmola veidošana un pozicionēšana, pārpozicionēšana. Trešajā aprakstīta semiotika. Ceturtajā nodaļā apskatītas pētniecības metodes. Piektajā – semiotiskais pētījums. Sestā nodaļa ietver airBaltic darbības raksturojumu, reklāmas semiotiskā pētījuma analīzi un dziļās intervijās iegūto ekspertu viedokļu analīzi.
Galvenais secinājums: airBaltic zīmols ir ticis pakāpeniski pārpozicionēts no pievienotas vērtības zīmola uz cenas orientētu. Pašreizējā pozicionējumā netiek vairs izmantoti simboli, kas veido zīmolu, tādēļ iespējami draudi, ka tas nespēs konkurēt ienākot jauniem vai palielinoties pašreizējo konkurentu aktivitātei.

There aren’t used symbols anymore which are creating the brand image, that’s why threat exist that the brand will not be able to compete if new competitors enter the market or competitors will be more active.
