| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darbā aplūkota laulību institūta transformācija Latvijā 20. – 21.gs. mijā.
Darba mērķis ir izsekot šī institūta transformācijām Latvijā no 1975. gada līdz 2007. gadam, izmantojot statistikas datus un Eiropas valstīs veiktos pētījumus.
Pētījuma teorētiskā daļā tiek aplūkota laulības institūta vēsturiskās nozīmes veidošanās un pētniecības virzieni, kā arī analizēta Latvijas vēsturiskās situācijas ietekme uz laulības institūtu.
Empīriskajā daļā tiek salīdzinātas teorētiskajā daļā gūtās atziņas ar respondentu sniegtajām atbildēm padziļinātajās intervijās. Atbildes analīzes daļā tiek klasificētas un analizētas pēc laulības veiktajām funkcijām sabiedrībā.
Balstoties uz iegūtajiem rezultātiem, var izdarīt secinājumu, ka laulības institūta transformāciju visbūtiskāk ir ietekmējuši trīs faktori – ekonomiskais, juridiskais un sociālais.

| dc.description.abstract | Bachelor follows the transformation of marriage institution in Latvia at the end of 20th and at the beginning of 21st century. The purpose of the paper is to follow these changes in Latvia between period 1975.-2007. It has been compared by the research made in different countries of Europe.
In the theoretical part it has been followed the rise of marriage institution and examined research courses in the matter of the work and analyzed the trace of Latvia’s history, to find the impact on institution of marriage.
The empirical part compares the outcome of in-depth interviews and theorys along with research made before. Responses in the comparative level has been classified and analyzed based on the functions marriage performs in society.
Based on summarized data, it can be concluded that the transformation of institution of marriage mainly has been influenced by three major factors: economical, legal and social.
