Bakalaura daba tēma ir „Sievietes ķermeņa konstrukcijas erotiskās fotogrāfijās vīriešu dzīvesstila žurnālos Latvijā (2007)”.
Pētījuma mērķis ir apzināt, kā tiek konstruēts sievietes ķermenis vīriešu dzīvesstila žurnālu erotiskajos šķirkļos, pētījuma problēma – pārlieku seksualizēts sievietes identitātes attēlojums. Darba teorētisko bāzi veido teorētiskie spriedumi un nostādnes par dzimti, ķermeņa konstrukcijām, vizuālo uztveri un vizualitāti. Pētījuma veikšanai izmantoti vizuālās metodoloģijas norādījumi par vizuālo kontentanalīzi, pielietojot gan kvantitatīvo, gan kvalitatīvo analīzes metodi.
Pētījuma gaitā secināts, ka sievietes ķermenis analizējamajā materiālā ir piesātināti seksualizēts, seksualitāte ir praktiski vienīgā sievietes loma, kādu var konstatēt erotisko attēlu kopumā.
Darba struktūru veido teorētiskā, metodoloģiskā, empīriskā un analīzes daļa. The object of the bachelor paper “Bodily Constructions of Women in Latvian Men’s Lifestyle Magazines (2007)” is to find out, how woman body is constructed with erotic pictures in men’s lifestyle magazines. The theoretical part of the work is based on theory of gender, bodily constructions, visual perception and visuality. There are used guidelines of visual methodology about visual content analysis to develop the paper, both quantitative, and qualitative method.
There can be drawn a conclusion that female body is deep sexualized. Sexuality is nearly the one and only role of woman, what researcher can recognize analyzing erotic photos in Latvian men’s lifestyle magazines.
The structure of the work consists of theoretical, methodological, empirical and analysing parts.
