Latvijas Televīzijas programmas divkanālu plānošanas koncepta atbilstība sabiedriskās televīzijas pamatprincipiem

Abstract

Bakalaura darba „Latvijas Televīzijas programmas divkanālu plānošanas koncepta atbilstība sabiedriskās televīzijas pamatprincipiem” mērķis ir analizēt LTV programmu un salīdzināt tās atbilstību Eiropā akceptētajiem sabiedriskās televīzijas principiem. Programmas analīzi autore veikusi, balstoties uz dienaskārtības noteikšanas teoriju, par metodoloģiju izvēloties kontentanalīzi un strukturēto interviju. Pētījumā konstatēts, ka vairākās LTV programmas sadaļās vērojamas būtiskas nepilnības, kas ļauj apšaubīt LTV programmas kopējo atbilstību sabiedriskās televīzijas principiem. Galvenās problemātiskās jomas: bērnu un pusaudžu raidījumi, dokumentālās un mākslas filmas, kultūrizglītojošie raidījumi, raidījumi minoritātēm, kā arī moderno tehnoloģiju pielietojums. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no četrām daļām – teorētiskās, metodoloģiskās, empīriskās un analītiskās.

The aim of the Bachelor thesis ‘The Adequacy of the Latvian Television Two-channel Planning Concept to the Public Television Principles’ is to analyze the programme of Latvian Television in order to compare its adequacy to the public television principles, accepted in Europe. The analysis is based on the agenda-setting theory, choosing content-analysis and structured interviews as the methodology. The results of the research suggest that there are substantial faults in the several parts of Latvian Television programme. The main problematic fields are the following: children and youth programmes, documentaries and fiction, culture and educative programmes, minority programming, the application of modern technologies.
