Rezultāti un to analīze:
Salīdzināts adaptācijas periods pirmreizējiem progresīvo lēcu lietotājiem pēc informācijas līimeņiem. Analizēts pierašanas laiks pie Interview tipa lēcām. Atrasti adaptācijas problēmu risinājumi.
Secinājumi:
Informācijas trūkums ietekmē progresīvo briļļu adaptāciju.
Progresīvo lēcu adaptācijas problēmas rada nepareiza lēcu iemontēšana, refrakcijas veids, pacienta nemācēšana pareizi izmantot progresīvās lēcas, nepareiza informācijas izpratne par tām un pacienta raksturs. The bachelor paper is written in the Latvian language and contains 47 pages. It includes 30 figures, 4 tables and 11 sources of literature.
Key words:
Progressive lenses, adaptation to progressive lenses.
Aim of the bachelor paper:
To study and sum up literature about the types of progressive lenses, their advantages, peculiarities and adaptation problems. To elaborate a questionnaire which will included the necessary information that will help to identify factors influencing the adaptation period of progressive glasses. To suggest the ways of solving adaptation problems.
Subjects of the research:
Presbyopic patients who have attended the optician’s shop and who have been prescribed to wear progressive or interviews lenses.
Method of the research:
Carrying out the research the author used a questionnaire that consists of two parts ("Knowledge about progressive lenses", "Information about the patients-users of progressive lenses and possible problems with the use of these type of lenses").
Computer programme VARILUX demo has been used to solve the problems.
Results of the research and their analysis:
The adaptation period of the first time users of progressive lenses has been compared in accordance with the information levels. The adaptation period for Interview lenses has been analysed. Ways of solving adaptation problems have been found.
Conclusions:
The lack of information influence the adaptation to progressive glasses.
Problems of adaptation to progressive lenses are caused by wrong lenses introducing, imprecise and incomplete refraction correction, patients' failure to use progressive lenses correctly and their features of character.
