Darbs " Laika nekonsekvences filmās, kas saisītas ar pārvietošanos laikā" aplūko temu kas saistās ar laika pārvietošanas teorijām un kā tas realizējas kinofilmas koncepcijā. Viens no butiskājiem darba mērķiem ir demonstrēt laika pārvietošanas filmu kompozīcijas daudzveidību, kas balstās uz daudziem papildus kinematogrāfiskiem elementiem, lai piešķirtu kinofilmai ticamu izskatu. Cits darba mērķis ir pieradīt kino piederību kino semiotikas pētniecības sfērai, lai demonstrētu dažadu kinematogrāfisku zīmju un attēlu esamību, kas var tikt analizēti tādā pašā nozīmes līmenī kā lingvistikas semiotika. Darba mērķis ir pozisionēt kino kā alternatīvu komunikācijas līdzekli, ar tam raksturīgu zīmju un attēlu kopumu. The work " Temporal Inconsistencies in Time Travel Films" deals with the subject matter of time travel theories and their cinematic realization in motion pictures. One of the main objectives of this study is to demonstrate the complexity of the composition of time travel films, which have to rely on many additional filmic elements to make the motion picture look credible. Another task of this work is to prove cinema's rightful belonging to the scope of inquiry of film semiotics, to demonstrate the existence of various cinematic signs and images that can be analized at exactly the same level of importance as semiotic inquiry into linguistics. This work aims at exploring cinematic phenomena from the perspective of cinematography as an alternative medium of communication, with its own classification of signs and images, and with its own structure of the film.
