Mutvārdu tulkošanas neverbālās iezīmes

Abstract

Šā bakalaura darba mērķis ir pētīt mutvārdu tulkošanas neverbālās īpatnības. Darbs sastāv no trim nodaļām. Pirmā nodaļa dod ieskatu mutvārdu tulkošanā un tās veidiem, kā arī piedāvā efektīvus paņēmienus, kurus lieto tulki, lai kvalificēti izpildītu savu darbu. Otrajā nodaļā aplūkoti neverbālās komunikācijas aspekti un problēmas mutvārdu tulkošanā. Šajā nodaļā autore analizē mutvārdu tulkošanu kā komunikatīvo aktu, apraksta neverbālās komunikācijas īpatnības cilvēku saskarsmē, pievērš uzmanību diskursa procesam neverbālajā komunikācijā, kā arī apkopo teorētiskos pētījumus par tulka lomas nozīmību kultūru saskarsmē. Prakstiskā nodaļa atspoguļo teorētisko secinājumu praktisku pielietojumu, analizējot mutvārdu tulkošanas neverbālās īpatnības, ņemot kā piemēru runas sinhronu tulkošanu.

The principal aim of the present Bachelor Paper is to explore non-verbal features of interpreting. The present paper consists of three chapters. The first chapter defines interpreting as a distinctive translational activity, gives an outline of the modes and types of interpreting, as well as puts forward effective coping tactics in interpretation, the knowledge of which enables the interpreter carry out his or her professional tasks skillfully. The second chapter presents the aspects and challenges of non-verbal communication in interpretation by dwelling upon interpretation as a communicative event, outlining the features of non-verbal communication in human interaction, describing the discourse process in non-verbal communication and its implications for the interpreter, as well as summarizing theoretical assumptions on the importance of the interpreter’s role in cross-cultural communication. The practical part analyzes the practical application of the theoretical assumptions of non-verbal features of interpreting on the example of simultaneous interpretation of a speech.
