Diplomdarba nosaukums ir „Supervīzijas ietekme uz sociālo darbinieku profesionalitāti.” Darba mērķis ir pētīt un analizēt sociālo darbinieku viedokli par supervīzijas ietekmi uz profesionalitāti. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek izskaidroti un analizēti jautājumi par funkcijām, kas spēj ietekmēt darba profesionalitāti un kompetenci, par sociālā darbinieka identitāti un par supervīzijas lomu sociālajā darbā.
Praktiskā pētījuma rezultātā tika noskaidrots sociālo darbinieku viedoklis par supervīzijas lietderību sociālā darbinieka profesionālajā izaugsmē un personīgās kompetences paaugstināšanā. Pētījuma autore darbā izmanto anketēšanas metodi un ir izveidojusi divu veidu anketas sociālā darba speciālistiem, kuriem ir bijusi supervīzija un kuriem nav bijusi supervīzija sociālā darba praksē.
Pētījuma rezultātā tika noskaidrots, ka supervīzijai ir ļoti liela loma sociālo darbinieku profesionālajā pilnveidē, kas sakrīt ar jau teorijā izvirzītajiem supervīzijas trīs galvenajām funkcijām – administrējošo, atbalstošo un izglītojošo.

supervīzija, profesionalitāte sociālajā darbā, profesionāla atbildība, supervizora loma. The theme of the diploma paper is "Supervision's Influence on the Professionalism of Social Workers". The goal of the diploma paper is to study and analyze social workers point of view regarding supervision influence on the professionalism. The theoretical part of the work explains and analyzes the following issues: functions that can affect professionalism and competence of the work, issues concerning work identity, and issues concerning the role of supervision in the social work.
The results of the practical research show social workers point of view on suitability of supervision in professional growth of social work and improvement of personal competence.
The author of the research uses the method of questionnaires in her work. The author has created two types of questionnaires for social work specialists - for those who have had supervision and for those who have not had supervision in their social work practice.
As a result of the research the following conclusion have been made: supervision has very important role in the improvement of social workers professionalism, and this statement coincides with three important functions of supervision that have already been proposed theoretically - administrative, supportive, and educative function.
