Tiešsaistes uzziņu instrumentu efektivitātes izpēte , lietojot mērķtiecīgus uzdevumus

Abstract

Diplomdarbs „Tiešsaistes uzziņu instrumentu efektivitātes izpēte, lietojot mērķtiecīgus uzdevumus” atspoguļo tā autora praktisko darbību un teorētiskos pētījumus viena mācību gada laikā Kuldīgas 2. vidusskolā un Latvijas Universitātē. Diplomdarba mērķis ir izpētīt, cik efektīvi angļu valodas apguvē var tikt izmantoti tiešsaistes uzziņu instrumenti. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek apskatīta tiešsaistes līdzekļu attīstība un dažādība, kā arī to loma valodas apguvē. Tiek apskatītas vārdnīcas vispār, kā arī tiešsaistes divvalodu vārdnīcu un tiešsaistes tēzauru efektivitāte, veicot specifiskus valodas uzdevumus. Empīriskajā daļā tiek apskatīta pētījumā izmantotā metodoloģija, kā arī atspoguļoti un analizēti pētījuma rezultāti. Diplomdarba secinājumi ir balstīti uz teorētiskajiem un empīriskajiem pētījumiem.

The diploma paper ‘Exploring the Efficiency of Online Reference Tools Using Purposeful Tasks’ presents the author’s practical activities and theoretical studies within one school year at Kuldīga Secondary School No.2 and Latvia University. The purpose of the diploma work is to research how efficiently online reference tools can be used in English language acquisition. In the theoretical part the development and diversity of online resources in language learning environment and their role in language learning is discussed. Dictionaries in general as well as efficiency of online bilingual dictionaries and online thesauri in specific language learning tasks are reviewed. In the empirical part the methodology used in the research is described, as well as results of the research are presented and analyzed. Conclusions of the diploma paper are based on theoretical and empirical research.
