The aim of present work is to determine the need of the new patient care protocol in orthovoltage or superficial x-ray therapy cabinet based on statistical analyses of theoretical and practical aspects, as well research of literature and informative materials.
The objective is to evaluate the importance of patient care protocol and potential of superficial x-ray therapy exposure optimization in reducing adverse skin reactions.
Research part provides a statistical summary of the data and the analysis of data on all cases of irradiation in x-ray therapy cabinet with the installation Gulmay Medical Therapy D3000 X-ray Systems between 2008 and 2012 year.
Orthovoltage x-ray therapy has a major role in malignant skin tumors. Research method is a quantitative non-experimental study, as an instrument - a structured observation.
Bachelor work presents and compares the details of the orthovoltage x-ray therapy procedures. Analysis of the study results evaluates
