Abstract
Kvalifikācijas darba tēma ir „Augstas pieejamības pasta servera izveidošana uz Linux un
OpenVZ bāzes”. Darba mērķis ir uzlabot uzņēmuma pasta piegādes servisu, aizstājot vienīgo
fiziski pastāvošo pasta serveri ar augstas pieejamības klasteri no diviem fiziskiem serveriem,
virtualizēt tos un uzstādīt nepieciešamos servisus e-pasta funkcionēšanai. Visu projektu var
sadalīt divos apjomīgos izstrādes posmos – augstas pieejamības klastera būvēšana un e-pasta
sistēmas ieviešanas process.
Veikto rekonstrukciju rezultātā tika sasniegti izvirzītie mērķi un izpildīti uzdevumi.
Novecojis pasta serveris tika aizstāts ar augstas pieejamības klasteri no diviem serveriem, kas
paaugstina gan sistēmas, gan datu drošību kanālu un aparatūras fiziskas bojāšanās gadījumā,
nodrošinot klientu elektroniskā pasta piegādes un saņemšanas funkcijas. Pēc augstas
pieejamības klastera ieviešanas servisu bojājumpiecietība ir pieaugusi par 50%.
Topic of Qualification work is “High-availability email server development based on OpenVZ and Linux”. The goal of the work is to improve company’s e-mail delivery service by replacing only one physically existing e-mail server with high availability cluster which consists of two physical servers, virtualize them and install the necessary services for e-mail function. The entire project can be divided into two extensive phases of development- high availability cluster building and e-mail services implementation process. As a result of carried out reconstructions the objectives and tasks were completed. Outdated mail server had been replaced with high-availability cluster of two nodes, which increases system and data security in situations with damage of channel and hardware, providing the clients with e-mail functions. This solution increases services fault tolerance by 50 percent.
