Abstract

Diplomdarba tēma ir ,,Multinacionālas kompānijas administrācijas izmaksu samazināšana globalizācijas laikmetā’’ Šī darba ievad daļā darba autors apskata mūsdienu tendences multinacionālu kompāniju administrācijas izmaksu samazināšanai, apskatot kādu funkciju un aspektu restrukturizēšana tiek izmantota, lai tiktu samazinātas administrācijas izmaksas. Kāda ir plānotā atdeve pēc apjomīgām investīcijām multinacionālu kompāniju administrācijas restrukturizēšanas projektos un kā to aprēķināt. Kādi riski būtu jāņem vērā ieviešot šādus projektus. Tad izmantojot iegūto informāciju, analīzes daļā tiek analizēts uzņēmuma Statoil Fuel and Retail un tā nesen aizsāktais apjomīgais projekts administrācijas funkciju restrukturizēšanai un biznesa centra izveide Rīgā, Latvijā. No kura izmantojot projekta sākotnējos un aprēķinātos datus nosaku potenciālo nākotnes ietaupījumu pēc apvienota pakalpojumu centra ieviesšanas, IT infrastruktūras uzlabošanas, un darbinieku skaita samazināšanas. Gala rezultātā pierādot, ka šāds projekts atmaksājas jau vidējā termiņā- No 1 līdz 5 gadiem, samazinot plānotās ikgadējās administrācijas izmaksas jau trešajā gadā, un ceturtajā jau iegūstot pozitīvu iekšējo investīciju atdevi. The topic of diploma thesis is ,,Multinational company’s administration cost reduction in the era of globalization’’. In the introducing part of this thesis author examines nowaday tendecies of multinational companies to cut an administration costs, by reviewing what kind of functions and aspects are being restruzturized in order to reduce the overall administration costs. What is the expected return after extensive investment in the multinational company projects of administrative cost restructuring and how to calculate it. What kind of risks should be aware of when implementing similar projects. Then by using obtained information, in the analysis part company Statoil Fuel and Retail and it’s recently launched extensive administration restructuring project with the business center planned to be delivered in Riga, Latvia is analysed. From which, by using the project’s initial and calculated data, potential future cost saving on shared service center creation, IT infrastructure improvement and layoffs is determined. By proving at the end of research, that this kind of project pays off in a medium term- From 1 to 5 year basis, by reducing planned annual costs for company’s administration already in a third year, and even gaining positive internal rate of return in the fourth year.
