Vizuālo tēlu valoda baroka laikmeta kultūrā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā analizēta vizuālo tēlu valoda baroka laikmeta kultūrā. Par pamatu ņemot 17.gs. mākslas paraugus, tiek pētīti ar piemēriem un skaidroti vizuālo tēlu saistība ar literatūru, paralēles ar antīko mākslu, reliģiju un tikumiem. Caurstrāvojot, to vēsturiski traģisku notikumu virknei, dominē tumšas krāsas un pesimistisks noskaņojums, radot atblāzmu šī laikmeta kultūrā un literatūrā. Neskatoties uz to, literāros, mākslas un arhitektūras darbos dominē spilgti izteiksmes līdzekļi: antitēzes, metaforas, alegorijas, simboli un emblēmas, ko var uzskatīt par baroka kultūras raksturojošiem elementiem. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt tuvāk tā laika mākslinieku darbu vizuālo tēlu motīvu funkcijas un to nozīmi, kā arī parādīt garīgo tēmu un simbolisko valodas tēlainību. Pētījuma rezultātā var izdarīt slēdzienus: Emblēmu un simboliku laika periodam bija nepārprotami liela ietekme uz publiku, tāpēc jēgu piesātinātajā pasaulē, visapkārt dominēja fantāzijām bagāti radīti mākslas darbi ar ilusionistiskām iezīmēm.

30.gadu ilgais karš, ieviesa cilvēkos nepārliecinātibu sevī un apkārtējā pasaulē, tāpēc baroka mākslinieki centās īpaši ilustrēt simboliem bagātākus tēlus, ko varēja uzskatīt, kā satur sniedzošu pamācošu informāciju par notiekošo pasaulē.

The present BA paper analyses the language of the visual developments in the period of the Baroque style in the art. The focus of the research is made on the 17th century’s works of art. Apart from that the connection of the visual developments with the literature, parallels with Antique art, religion and customs are investigated in the current work. Due to the course of that period’s historically tragic events the dark colours and pessimistic mood are predominant; as a result, the works of art and literature are obviously influenced by the general feeling of the time. However in the paintings and the architectural sculptures visual developments (antithesis, metaphors, allegories, symbols and emblems) are of primary importance. Beyond that the mentioned above visual developments are considered to be the characteristic elements of Baroque art.

The aim of the BA paper is to thoroughly investigate the visual developments’ motives, functions and its significance in that period artists’ paintings. Furthermore, to explore the spiritual theme and to show the language figurativenesses are the vital tasks of the present research paper.

On the basis of the current work the conclusions have been made:

The duscussed period’s emblems and symbols influenced the public substantially. Consequently, in the ‘sense–saturated world’ the means of illustrations are expressive and the works of art are rich in fantasy and illusive features. The BA degree seeker believes that, as a result of the thirty years long war people and the world have become unconfident, thus, the artists of the Boroque style aimed at illustrating the images that are greatly rich symbols which disclose meaningful and didactic information of that period events.
