Koris latviešu dramatiskajā teātrī – formas un funkcijas

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā ir teorētiski aplūkots un zinātniski analizēts koris kā aktuāls un mākslinieciski kvalitatīvs teātra izrāžu elements. Darbā koris apskatīts divu dažādu estētiku kontekstā: pirmkārt, pasaules teātra vēstures (kā dionīsisko rituālu, antīkā teātra, modernisma dramaturģijas, 20. gadsimta vācu episkā teātra elements) un, otrkārt, Latvijā populārās kordziedāšanas tradīcijas kontekstā. Izmantojot teorētisko literatūru, darbā analizētas kora tēla dažādās izpausmes, formas un funkcijas latviešu dramatiskajā teātrī – gan padomju laikā, par tipiskāko un būtiskāko piemēru izvirzot režisora Pētera Pētersona iestudējumus, gan mūsdienu latviešu teātrī, konkrēti, režisora Viestura Kairiša, Indras Rogas un Alvja Hermaņa darbos.

Bachelor thesis analyses and theoretically looks at the chorus as a topical and artistically qualitative element of theatre. Chorus is examined in the context of two different aesthetics: firstly, in the context of the history of world theatre (as an element of Dionysian festivals, ancient theatre, modern drama and 20th century German epic theatre) and, secondly, in the context of the well-known Latvian choral singing tradition. Using theoretical literature these different displays, forms and functions of chorus are analyzed in the Latvian dramatic theatre – both in soviet times, bringing forward the productions of Pēteris Pētersons as most typical and substantial, and in nowadays Latvian theatre, discussing the works of Viesturs Kairišs, Indra Roga and Alvis Hermanis.
