Jūras leksikas salīdzinājums somu, igauņu un lībiešu valodā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā autore apraksta jūras leksikas cilmi trijās Baltijas jūras somu valodās – somu, igauņu un lībiešu; darbs ir sadalīts trijās nodaļās, pirmajā no tām tiek aprakstīta etimoloģija kā valodniecības nozare un, otrajā tiek aprakstīta vārdu cilme, bet trešajā nodaļā analizē otrajā nodaļā iegūtos rezultātus un salīdzina starp divām vārdu grupām. Pētījuma mērķis ir parādīt, ka jūras leksikas attīstība ir saistāma ar zvejniecības un jūrniecības attīstību kā ekonomikas nozari un pēc vārdu cilmes daļēji ir iespējams noteikt vārda vecuma pakāpi. Iegūtie rezultāti parāda, ka visās trijās valodās sastopamie vienas cilmes vārdi pārsvarā ir somu cilmes un senāka līmeņa vārdi. Lielākā daļa ģermānismu attiecīgajās valodās parādījušies līdz ar jūrniecības un zvejniecības attīstību.

The author of the bachelor thesis describes the origin of sea lexis in three Finno-Ugric languages of the Baltic sea – Finnish, Estonian and Livonian; the paper is divided into two large sections, in the first part etymology is described as a section of linguistics, in the second part word origins are described and the third part is dedicated to analysing the results obtained from the first section and compared between two word groups. The aim of the research is to show that the development of sea lexic can be linked to development of seafaring and fishing as an economic industry and that by origins of words the degree of age of the word can be partly determined. The obtained results show that words of the same origin in all three languages are mainly of Finnish origin and words from the oldest level. The most number of Germanisms in the corresponding languages appeared in the same time with the development of seafaring and fishing.
