Abstract

Elfrīdes Jelinekas romānā visvairāk uzminība tiek koncentrēta uz attiecībām starp māti un meitu, kā arī šo attiecību tālāko ietekmi uz galvenās varones dzīvi. Šis darbs sniedz ieskatu pašas rakstnieces dzīvē, kā arī viņas bērnībā, no kurienes arī nākušas romānas vēsmas. Galvenās varones Ērikas uzvedībai ir cēloņi, kas nāk no viņas bērnibas, bet galvenokārt no viņas attiecībām ar pašas māti. Jelineka izveidoja autoritāru tēlu, māti, kura audzina savu bērnu savtīgiem nolūkiem, tajā pašā laikā graujot viņas personību. Ērikas uzvedība atklāj viņas patiesās vēlmes un noslēpumus, kas ir dziļi apslēpti viņas prātā. Māte atstāja neizdzēšamas sekas galvenās varones dzīvē. Meitai tika liegts viss, kas varētu novērst viņas uzmanību no galvenā mērķa-pasaules slavenas klavierspēlētājas slavas.

In the Novel of Elfriede Jelinek, most of the attention is concentrated on the relationship between a mother and her daughter, including the after effects of these relationships on the life of the main protagonist. This work gives an insight on the life of the author herself, her childhood and the ideas to creating this Novel. The main reasons of the protagonists behavior come from her childhood, but most important from the relationship with her mother. Jelinek created an authoritative character, a mother who raises a child with selfish motives, destroying her personality at the same time. Erika’s behavior reveals her true wishes and secrets, which are deeply hidden within her mind. The mother left in irascible effect on the main protagonists’ life. The daughter was denied everything that could avert her attention from the main goal-becoming a world famous piano player.
