Klausīšanās un runas prasmju attīstīšana skolā

Abstract

Spēja sazināties dzīves situācijās ir viens no galvenajiem valodas mācīšanās iemesliem, tomēr skolēniem nav pietiekami daudz iespēju attīstīt runas prasmes, tā rezultātā attīstot viņos nevēlēšanos izmantot valodu mutiskai saziņai. Dotā darba mērķis ir uzlabot skolēnu klausīšanās un runas prasmes, iesaistot tos papildus komunikatīvās pāru un grupu darba aktivitātēs. Teorētiskais pētījums tika veikts, izanalizējot teorētiskās nostādnes un piemērojot tās dotajam pētnieciskajam darbam. Empīriskais pētījums, izmantojot mācību procesa pētījuma metodi, sastāvēja no pilota projekta, klases novērošanas, pirms- un pēc-pārbaudījumiem un aptaujas. Mācību procesa pētījumu metode rāda, ka integrējot papildus komunikatīvas pāru un nelielu grupu darba aktivitātes mācību procesā, skolēnu sazināšanās prasmes uzlabojas, jo tiek manāmi palielināts skolēnu savstarpējās saziņas laiks un tiek nodrošināti nepieciešamie apstākļi aktīvai komunikācijai.

Being able to communicate in real life is one of the main reasons for learning the language, however, students lack speaking opportunities as a result leading to their reluctance to use the target language for oral communication. The purpose of the present research is to improve the learners’ listening and speaking skills by means of increased usage of communicative pair and group work activities. The theoretical research was conducted by analysing the relevant theories and adapting them to the present research. The empirical research was carried out in a form of action research comprising a pilot teaching, the learners’ observation, the pre- and post-tests and the questionnaire. The results of the action research show that an increased usage of communicative pair and small group activities improves the learners’ communication skills since their interaction time is maximized and they are provided with the necessary conditions for active communication.
