Pleonasmi Bībeles tekstos

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir pleonasmi Bībeles tekstos.Darbā teorētiski un praktiski analizēti pleonasmi, kā avotu izmantojot latviešu 1965. gada revidēto Bībeles tulkojumu, aprakstīta arī Bībeles valodas specifika saistībā ar pleonasmiem. Latviešu valodniecībā nav plašu pētījumu par pleonasmiem, lielākoties tie aplūkoti saistībā ar valodas kultūru. Pleonasmi latviešu Bībeles valodā nav pētīti. Pētījumā secināts, ka Bībeles valodā atrodami diezgan daudz pleonastisku valodas līdzekļu, īpaši paralēlismi. Bieži tie tiek lietoti nevis nejauši, bet gan kā stilistiskas figūras ar mērķi uzsvērt, padarīt tekstu emocionālāku un pārliecinošāku. Īpaši daudz paralēlismu atrodamu Bībeles grāmatās, kas oriģinālā rakstītas ebreju dzejā, jo paralēlismi bijuši tās pamatā. Atslēgas vārdi: pleonasmi, paralēlismi, Bībele, ebreju dzeja.

The theme of the bachelor`s thesis is Pleonasms in the Texts of the Bible. For theoretical and practical analysis of pleonasms as a source is used Latvian revised Bible translation of year 1965. Also the specific character of the Bible language in connection with pleonasms is described in the bachelor`s thesis. There is no wide study of pleonasms in the Latvian linguistics. Mostly they are considered from a point of view connected with language culture. In the language of the Latvian Bible pleonasms are not studied. It is concluded in the research work that in the Bible texts quite a lot of pleonastic means of expression, especially parallelisms, can be found. Often they are not used by chance but as stylistic figures with the purpose to emphasize, to make the text more emotional and convincing. Particularly many parallelisms can be found in those books in the Bible that were originally written as Jewish poetry as parallelisms had been a characteristic feature of it.
