Galveno varoņu tēlu konstrukcija Vesa Andersona filmās "Varenā Tenenbaumu ģimene", "Ūdensdzīve ar Stīvu Zisū" un "Lieliskais lapsas kungs"

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā tika pētīta galvenā varoņa tēla konstrukcija Vesa Andersona filmās „Varenā Tenenbaumu ģimene“, „Ūdensdzīve ar Stīvu Zisū“ un „Lieliskais Lapsas kungs“. Pētījuma mērķis ir teorētiski izpētīt kino semiotikas nozīmi, un praktiski izanalizēt tēla konstrukcijas veidošanās iespējas Vesa Andersona filmās. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek aplūkoti semiotikas teorētiskie aspekti, filmu teorijas, kino semiotika un dažādi kino valodas elementi un to pielietojums. Metodoloģijas aprakstā tiek apskatīts semiotiskās analīzes un fokusa grupas teorētiskais skaidrojums un pielietojuma pamatojums, kā arī aprakstīts pētījuma dizains. Empīriskajā daļā ar semiotiskās analīzes palīdzību pēc iepriekš izvirzītajiem kritērijiem tiek analizētas trīs Vesa Andersona filmas un veikta fokusa grupas diskusija divos auditorijas segmentos. Pētījuma rezultāti apkopo kino kodu nozīmi un daudzveidību, kā arī ietekmi uz galveno varoņu tēla interpretāciju.

The research studies construction of the protagonist's image in Wes Anderson's films “The Royal Tenenbaums”, “Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” and “Fantastic Mr. Fox”. The research objective is to examine the theoretical concepts of film semiotics and their application to the analysis of film narrative and specifically to the construction of the main images and characters in Wes Anderson's films. The theoretical part of the study examines the theoretical aspects of semiotics, film theory, film semiotics and different cinematic semiotic code elements and their use. Description of methodology discusses semiotic analysis, focus group theoretical explanation and motivation of its application as well as the description of the study design. The empirical part of the study analyzes three Wes Anderson’s films via semiotic analysis with pre-set criteria. It also covers the discussions of the focus group in two different segments of the audience. The study results show the importance and diversity of film coding as well as its impact on the main characters’ image interpretation.
