Sievietes reprezentācija žurnālos "Sievietes Pasaule" un "Darba Sieviete" (1938–1941)

Abstract

Darba temats „Sievietes reprezentācija žurnālos ”Sievietes Pasaule” un ”Darba Sieviete” (1938–1941)”. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kā tiek reprezentēta sieviete, noskaidrojot, vai reprezentācija mainās divos vēsturiski atšķirīgos režīmos – autoritārā režīma laikā un pirmās padomju okupācijas laikā. Izvirzīta pētnieciskā problēma: vēsturisko režīmu maiņas rezultātā mainās arī sievietes reprezentācija sieviešu žurnālos ”Sievietes Pasaule” un ”Darba Sieviete”. Teorētiskajā daļā aplūkota reprezentācijas teorija, dzimtes studijas, sociālās realitātes konstruēšana medijos. Pētījumā pielietotās metodes – kontentanalīze un diskursa vēsturiskā analīze. Diskursa vēsturiskās analīzes un kontentanalīzes rezultāti liecina, ka žurnālu ”Sievietes Pasaule” un ”Darba Sieviete” publikācijas galvenokārt pievēršas sievietes – mātes, sievietes – ģimenes dzīves uzturētājas attēlošanai.

The issue of the work is „Woman’s representation in magazines ”Sievietes Pasaule” and ”Darba Sieviete” (1938–1941)”. The aim of the research paper – explore how the woman is represented and whether representation changes in two different periods of time – period of authoritarian regime and the first Soviet occupation of Latvia. The problem of the research: two different periods of time changed woman’s representation in magazines ”Sievietes Pasaule” and ”Darba Sieviete”. The theoretical part describes representation theory, gender studies, social construction of reality in mass media. The research methods of the work – a content analysis, historical discourse. Discourse-historical analysis, content analysis show that the publications of magazines ”Sievietes Pasaule” and ”Darba Sieviete” mostly focus on the woman’s – mother, woman’s – family provider and reproducing.
