| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darba tēma: Jauniešu sevis prezentācija draugiem.lv profilos un galerijās. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kā jaunieši sevi prezentē caur draugiem.lv galerijām un profiliem. Pētāmā problēma- sevis prezentēšana profilos un galerijās atšķiras katram konkrētam vecumam un dzimumam.
Lai izpētītu jauniešu sevis prezentēšanu sociālajos portālos, nepieciešams apskatīt literatūru par identitātēm un sevis prezentēšanu. Lai analizētu identitātes un sevis prezentēšanu caur vizuālajiem attēliem, tiks izmantota literatūra par attēliem un vizuālo analīzi.
Pētnieciskās metodes ir kvalitatīvā un kvantitatīvā kontentanalīze, un daļēji strukturētā intervija, lai noskaidrotu raksturīgākās sevis prezentēšanas iezīmes jauniešu publicētajās fotogrāfijās un salīdzinātu iegūto informāciju ar jauniešu izteikumiem par sevis prezentēšanu portālā.

| dc.description.abstract | The title of this bachelor work is: Youth self-presentation in draugiem.lv profiles and galleries. The work aim is to explore how young people present themselves through draugiem.lv galleries and profiles. The problem to be investigated- self-presentation in profiles and galleries is different for each age and gender.
In order to explore young people's self-presentation in social sites is necessary to look at the literature about identity and self-presentation. In analysis of the identity and self-presentation through visual images, literature about images and visual analysis will be used.
Research methods- qualitative and quantitative content analysis, and partly structured interviews will be used in order to find out the most characteristic in features of young people's self-presentation in published photographs and compare the information with young people statements about the online self-presentation.
