Gatava tīmekļa vietne var būt ideāla no tehniskā viedokļa, vizuāli kvalitatīva, to var apmeklēt daudz cilvēku, tomēr galvenais vietnes uzdevums – konversijas koeficienta palielināšana, var nebūt atrisināts.
Bakalaura darbā autore aprakstīja kāpēc tīmekļa vietnes mēdz būt neefektīvas, un problēmas risinājumam galveno uzmanību veltīja lietotāju pieredzes projektēšanai( UX design), tā izpētei un darba gaitas aprakstīšanai.
Mērķis bija identificēt tipiskas problēmas, kas rodas izmantojot ierasto un novecojušo pieeju tīmekļa produktu projektēšanā, atrast šo problēmu risinājumus, un novērtēt to efektivitāti.
Darba rezultātā autore izstrādāja „Stratēģiskās projektēšanas un analīzes metodiku” , kura tika pielietota reālā projektā, ka arī pielietoja darbā aprakstītas efektivitātes palielināšanas metodes, un, izmantojot tīmekļa analitītikas sistēmu, novērtēja ieviesto izmaiņu efektivitāti procentos.

The thesis explains why websites usually are ineffective and focuses on User experience design as the solution, its research and the description of its usage structure.
The goal was to identify typical problems, that arise when using the usual and outdated approach to web-based product designing, to find and evaluate the solutions for these problems.
The author created “Strategical design and analysis methodology”, that was used in a web project. The methods described in the thesis for increasing the effectivity of websites, were also used in the project. The effectiveness of the changes made was evaluated using a web-analytics system and expressed in percentage.
