Abstract
Pastāv vairākas metodes kā veidot datu noliktavu, nav vienotas nostājas kura no metodēm ir labākā. Darba autors pieņem, ja vienai organizācijai datu noliktava būs izstrādāta pēc atšķirīgām metodēm, atšķirsies arī tās konceptuālais modelis. Darbā tiek apskatītas vairākas metodes, viena no tām tiek izvēlēta prasību iegūšanai. Pēc metodes pielietošanas tiek veidots datu noliktavas projektējums, tas tiek salīdzināts ar pastāvošās datu noliktavas projektējumu.
There are several methods for designing data warehouse, but there is not one position which is considered the best one. Author thinks if data warehouse will be designed with different methods, conceptual model of data warehouse will differ too. In this paper there are several descriptions of methods, one of them is chosen and used for gathering requirements. After using the method conceptual model of data warehouse is developed and compared with the previous one.
