Jaunumi angļu valodas mācīšanā

Abstract

Visā vēstures gaitā angļu valodas mācīšana ir bijusi pakļauta pastāvīgām pārmaiņām. Angļu valodas mācīšanas metodika strauji mainās gan izmantoto metožu, gan pieeju jomā. Šī bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt izmaiņas angļu valodas mācīšanas metodikā, kā arī izpētīt internetā balstītas valodas mācīšanas pielietošanu dažādajos mācīšanas kontekstos. Pētīšanas metodēm ietilpst salīdzinošā literatūra un interneta avotu analīze, stundu novērošana un uz aptaujas balstīts izmeklējums. Pētījuma rezultātā darba autore padziļināja savas zināšanas par angļu valodas pasniegšanas metodoloģijas vēsturi, jaunākajiem izstrādājumiem angļu valodas mācīšanas sfērā, kā arī par to pamattendencēm. Daži no jaunajiem izstrādājumiem angļu valodas mācīšanā tika pielietoti darbā gadījuma izpētes gaitā darba empīriskajā daļā. Throughout the course of history English language teaching has been subject to a never-ending change. The methodology of ELT has been developing rapidly both in terms of methods and approaches applied. The goal of the present research is to examine the changes in the methodology of ELT and to explore the implementation of web-based computer-assisted language instruction in different teaching contexts. The methods of research include the comparative analysis of the theoretical sources on the theme under discussion, lesson observation and a questionnaire-based research. During the work on the study the author of the paper managed to obtain a better understanding of the ELT methodology, the most recent developments in the field as well as the trends underlying these developments. Some of the recent developments in ELT were applied during the case study in the empirical part of the paper.
