Sociālās atmiņas konstruēšana par padomju deportācijām muzeja kontekstā: Latvijas Okupācijas muzeja gadījums

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis ir atklāt, kā Latvijas Okupācijas muzejā ar deportāciju laika priekšmetiem tiek konstruēta sociālā atmiņa par padomju deportācijām, fokusējoties gan uz muzeja kā mērķtiecīgas tehnoloģijas izveidi, kas uztur vismaz divus procesus – institucionalizētās vēstures tālāknodošanu un sociālās atmiņas konstruēšanu, gan padomju deportāciju ekspozīcijas izveidi un priekšmetu atlases principiem, gan arī uz operēšanu ar priekšmetiem gidu vadītās skolēnu un tūristu ekskursijās. Pētījumā tiek izdarīti vairāki secinājumi, no kuriem būtiskākie ir: (1) priekšmeti tiek atlasīti, lai ar to palīdzību rekonstruētu padomju deportācijas noteiktā perspektīvā un, veidojot sociālo atmiņu par tām, sasniegtu konkrētu mērķi; (2) sociālās atmiņas veidošana par padomju deportācijām norisinās tikai skolēnu ekskursiju laikā, tūristu gadījumā veicinot vien institucionalizētās vēstures tālāknodošanu.

The aim of this research paper is to show how social memory about Soviet deportations is constructed by using material things in the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia. The research paper focuses on such aspects as the establishment of a museum as purposeful technology, which maintain at least two processes - transference of the institutional history and construction of social memory; the establishment of the exposition of Soviet deportations; the principles of the selection of material things for exposition; and the operation with material things in guided museum excursions for pupils and tourists. The most significant conclusions of the research include two: (1) material things, which are used to construct and form social memory, are selected both to reconstruct Soviet deportations in specific perspective and to achieve a particular aim; (2) the construction of social memory about Soviet deportations takes place only in guided excursions for pupils (...).
