Frazeoloģismu un tēlainās izteiksmes līdzekļu tulkošana

Abstract

Diplomdarba mērķis ir pētīt, vai dažādos mutvārdu tulkošanas veidos frazeoloģismu un tēlainās izteiksmes līdzekļu adekvāts tulkojums ir vienlīdz būtisks. Teorētiskajā daļā sniegts ieskats frazeoloģismu un tēlainās izteiksmes līdzekļu iedalījumā un būtībā, kā arī pētīti mutvārdu tulkošanas veidi un tajās izmantotās metodes. Praktiskajā daļā analizēta frazeoloģismu un tēlainās izteiksmes līdzekļu tulkošana attiecīgi katrā no mutvārdu tulkošanas veidiem. Secinājums: diplomdarba hipotēze ir apstiprinājusies – frazeoloģismu un tēlainās izteiksmes līdzekļu adekvāts tulkojums dažos mutvārdu tulkošanas veidos (piem., reliģisko pasākumu tulkošanā) ir būtiskāka nekā citos (secīgais tulkojums). Šis mutvārdu tulkošanas aspekts ir cieši saistīts ar runas tematiku, klientu vēlmēm un runātāja izvirzīto mērķi.

The objective of the diploma paper is to explore whether adequate interpretation of idioms and figures of speech is equally essential in different types of interpretation. The theoretical part gives an insight into division and nature of idioms and figures of speech, as well as studies types and methods of interpretation. The practical part analyses interpretation of idioms and figures of speech in each type of interpretation respectively. The conclusion: the hypothesis has proved to be true – adequate interpretation of idioms and figures of speech is more essential in some types of interpretation (interpreting religious events) than in others (consecutive interpreting). This aspect of interpretation is closely related to the theme of the speech, clients’ desires and speaker’s objectives.
