| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darba tēma ir tūrisma ceļvežu tulkošanas īpatnības, kurā īpaša uzmanību ir vērsta uz grūtībām, kas rodas tulkojot īpašvārdus un kultūras reālijas. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izanalizēt Dorling Kinderlsey tūrisma ceļvedi „France” un tā latvisko tulkojumu „Francija”, kā arī uzzināt kādas problēmas rodas sastopoties ar kultūras reālijām analizējot grāmatu “Country Style” un tulkojot vienu no šīs grāmatas rakstiem - „French Country Style”. Darba autore iepazinās un analizēja teorētiskos avotus par tulkošanas metožu pielietošanu tulkojot īpašvārdus latviešu valodā, kā arī to kādas tulkošanas stratēģijas varētu tik izmantotas tulkojot kultūras reālijas. Darba autore noskaidroja, kādas tulkošanas stratēģijas tika pielietotas tulkojot tūrisma ceļvedi „France” latviešu valodā. Rezultāti atklāja, ka tūrisma ceļveži pieder pie multifunkcionāla tekstu tipa. Īpašvārdu tulkošanā tiek izmantotas galvenokārt trīs tulkošanas metodes: transkripcija, lokalizēšana, kā arī tiek saglabāta oriģinālā rakstība. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The Bachelor thesis focuses on the specifics of travel guide translation paying attention to peculiarities that appear when translating proper nouns and foreign culture words. The purpose of the paper is to analyze Dorling Kindersley travel guide “France” and its Latvian translation “Francija” as well as to find out what problems cause foreign culture words when analyzing the sourcebook “County Style” and when translating one of its articles – “French Country Style”. Theoretical sources have been read and analyzed in order to find out what methods are used when transferring proper nouns in Latvian as well as what methods can be applied when dealing with foreign culture words. The author of the Bachelor thesis analyzed what kinds of strategies have been applied when translating travel guide “France”. Results showed that travel guides belong to specific multifunctional text type. Proper nouns are transferred into Latvian by the following strategies: transcription, direct transfer and localization. | en_US |
