Maģistra darbs „Nozokomiālo infekciju riska faktori bērnu stacionārā” sastāv no 4 nodaļām un 5 pielikumiem. Darbā veikts zinātniskās literatūras apraksts par nozokomiālo infekciju epidemioloģiju un pētījums par veselības aprūpes laikā iegūto infekciju riska faktoriem bērnu stacionārā. Pētījuma projekta mērķis ir noskaidrot nozokomiālo infekciju riska faktorus bērnu stacionārā. Darba hipotēze: nozokomiālo infekciju riska faktori bērnu stacionārā ir atkarīgi no bērna vecuma īpatnībām, pamatslimības smaguma un personāla roku higiēnas ievērošanas. Pētījuma veikšanai izmantota kvalitatīvā pētniecības metode – aprūpes dokumentācijas analīze un novērojums. Pētījuma rezultāti atbalsta maģistra darba hipotēzi. Pētījuma rezultāti dos iespēju identificēt nozokomiālo infekciju riska faktorus un izvērtēt šo slimību profilakses pasākumu plānošanu.
